The Village Clerk read the legal notice:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Babylon will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. by video conference to consider the adoption of proposed
Local Law #8 of the year 2021
to amend Village Code Chapter §210 Landscapers by revising §210-7 C. Regulations and 210-8, Penalties for offenses.

The mayor explained that this local law is to update regulations on landscapers to make sure they are picking up the debris left behind from landscaping jobs. Landscapers must take the debris with them; it should not be left for the village sanitation crews to remove. This local law also updates the penalties for these offenses.
On the motion of Trustee Seibert, seconded by Trustee Silvestri and unanimously carried, it was
RESOLVED to reserve decision.
