Sean Goodwin, Trustee
Sean Goodwin has been a proud resident of Babylon Village for 19 years and comes from a family who has also called Babylon Village their home for many years. In addition to serving as a Trustee for the Village of Babylon, Sean is a Trustee with the Village of Babylon Historical and Preservation Society, a member of the Babylon Village Façade Improvement Committee and on the Board of Directors for the Pride Parade. He is also involved with the Babylon Village Volunteer Corp. and has been heavily involved with the preservation of the Conklin House for the past 7 years. Sean is a parishioner as is his family of St. Joseph’s Church.
As a Trustee, Sean wants to continue his work at the Conklin House to encourage future generations to participate in keeping the Conklin House history alive and promote greater volunteerism within the community.
Formally having worked in retail sales in New York City for 25 years, Sean now calls Babylon Village his home. He is married and in his free time enjoys the Babylon beaches and all that the Village has to offer throughout the year.
He is looking forward to working with the Village Board to keep Babylon vital, safe and prosperous. Promoting retail in the downtown business district and welcoming new businesses to Babylon Village, Sean is excited to build an even greater sense of community
